01What is prediction market prop trading?
The Funded Factory provides evaluation and funded trading accounts designed specifically for prediction markets. You trade a simulated account using live market data. If you meet the evaluation objectives and risk limits, you qualify for a funded account. You trade with our capital, keep a share of the eligible profits, and never risk your own money.
02How does the evaluation work?
You pay a one-time evaluation fee and trade a simulated account. Hit the 10% profit target within 30 days while staying within the 3% daily drawdown, 6% maximum trailing drawdown, and 0.5% event-profit cap, and you get funded. It is a single-step evaluation with account sizes from $5K to $100K.
03What markets can I trade?
You can trade eligible prediction markets across categories including politics, economics, sports, crypto, world events, and culture. The available markets are driven by real-world events and platform eligibility.
04What happens if I lose money?
You never risk your own capital beyond the initial evaluation fee. If you hit the maximum drawdown limit, your account is breached, and you can re-evaluate by starting a new challenge. There is no debt, no margin calls, and no personal liability.
05What account sizes are available?
We offer $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K, and $100K evaluation accounts. All sizes share the same core rules: 10% profit target, 3% daily drawdown, 6% maximum trailing drawdown, 0.5% event-profit cap, 75% standard profit split, and 30-day time limit. You can also upgrade your profit split to 90% or double your evaluation time to 60 days with optional add-ons.
06How do the drawdown rules work?
The 3% Daily Drawdown resets daily at 5:00 PM ET. The 6% Maximum Drawdown is calculated using a trailing equity high-water mark. Both limits apply across Evaluation and Funded phases. The calculations are equity-based, meaning the mark-to-market value of open positions is included, and the maximum threshold trails upward as your account hits new equity highs.
07How does the event-profit cap work?
Instead of a complex consistency rule, we use a 0.5% event-profit cap. This limits the maximum potential profit you can make on any single event to 0.5% of your starting account size. This prevents traders from qualifying primarily from one lucky, oversized bet, ensuring your edge is repeatable.
08What are the rules for the funded account?
Funded Accounts follow the same trading and risk structure as the Evaluation. Max Drawdown, daily drawdown, event-profit caps, market eligibility, and platform rules all carry over. The main differences are no profit target and no time limit. You are eligible for payouts every 7 days, subject to the 75% or 90% profit split and a 2% minimum payout requirement.
